LANDIS— The 13th annual CHAOS Youth Theater, “I Am,” will take place on March 9 and 10 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Landis. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. An encore performance of “I Am” will be held on Sunday, March 10 at 4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. This year’s theme is “I Am.”
I think we have all stared into the mirror and asked the question “Who Am I”?
That question is often quite difficult to answer. Particularly in the world we live in so many questions revolve around who we are as individuals.
One thing is certain, if we seek who we are through Christ it’s easy to know who you are. Jesus tells us in His word that we are a new creation, fearfully and wonderfully made, blessed, anointed, chosen, forgiven, strong, redeemed and loved. These incredible truths are just the beginning of what the great “I Am” says about us.
One of my favorite verses, Isaiah 41:10, says “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Join CHAOS in a night of creative worship and arts as students share their personal stories of faith and self reflection. Students will perform a series of original skits.
This year’s show will display many forms of Christian arts including dance, drama, acting, singing, monologues and more. Finding creative ways to intersect my faith with the things I love and enjoy has played a strong role in my youth ministry. I encourage kids to serve God in all that they do.
We have a limited amount of tickets left for the both shows. Please make your reservations by emailing your reservation to reserveCHAOS@gmail.com
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and include popcorn and drink. Tickets are reserved in advance and paid for at the door. Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 108 West Rice St. in Landis.
This is a wonderful event for church youth groups and anyone who would like to join us.

The South Rowan Lutheran Youth is a joint youth ministry of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, St. Enoch Lutheran Church, Mt. Moriah Evangelical Lutheran Church and Trinity Lutheran Church in the South Rowan area. Middle and high school youth from all four churches participate, and they go by the name CHAOS Youth which stands for Christians Hyped about Our Savior.

Candice Carter has served as the full time youth director for the group since 2004.
