Rowan weather: Same old thing

It’s more of the same today, but it won’t be so cold. We have an 80 percent chance of rain, and the high will be 55.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely before 4 p.m., then mostly showers. We’ll also see patchy fog. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible, with higher amounts in thunderstorms.

Tonight’s chance of rain is 60 percent, with rain mainly after 3 a.m. and more fog. It will be cloudy and 44 with northeast wind at 5-7 mph after midnight. Another tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.

The chance of rain Friday is 80 percent again, and the heavy rains may lead to flooding or downed trees. We’ll have fog in the morning, then again after 4 p.m. It will be 48 with northeast wind around 8 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is expected.

Friday night’s low will be 40, with another 80 percent chance of rain. Northeast wind will be at 5-7 mph. A tenth to quarter inch more rain is expected.

No real improvement comes Saturday, which will have a 60 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m., then rain. It will be cloudy and 48, with east northeast wind at 3-5 mph.

Saturday night also has a 60 percent chance of rain, mainly before 7 p.m., then showers between 7 p.m. and 4 a.m. It will be cloudy and 45.

Sunday will bring some relief. It will be partly sunny and 70, with a 50 percent chance of showers before noon, then rain. Sunday night will be clear and 35.

Monday will be sunny and 58, with a partly cloudy night and a low of 34.

Tuesday will be partly sunny and 57. A 30 percent chance of rain moves in Tuesday night, It will be mostly cloudy and 39.

Wednesday will be partly sunny and 60, with another 30 percent chance of rain.
