Pottery 101 hosts artists Shirl Hull and Amy Hart

NY native Shirl Hull is an artist and designer that has been making and designing jewelry since the early ’70s, studying jewelry design, lost wax casting and jewelry fabrication. Shirl has been the recipient of several entrepreneurial awards and her work has appeared in Essence magazine. She currently resides in Spencer.
Amy Hart has been welding and forging iron for over 20 years.Because she creates found object art, when Amy is not stopping her car on the side of the road to “re-purpose” an old muffler, she can be often be found at a local scrap yard.

Salisbury Symphony to present ‘A Night at the Met’

“A Night at the Met” features Soprano Jennifer Rowley, acclaimed worldwide for her unforgettable voice and remarkable stage presence. See her perform in person at Salisbury’s Hedrick Theatre.
Ms. Rowley will be accompanied by pianist Matthew Michael Brown, and will include pieces selected by Rowley especially for this occasion.

Center for Faith & the Arts presents ‘Meet Me in Paris’

CFA gala and fundraiser at Lee Street Theatre: Imagine twinkling lights and white tablecloths. The sound of good jazz in the background and the smell of fresh flowers from the stand on the corner. Artists are out painting and poets are reading their new works. There is good French wine on the table and the buffet contains a delightful assortment of French Hors d’oeuvres and fine desserts. CFA announces Call For Artists
Center for Faith and the Arts announces a call for its upcoming show “Never Silent” to be presented in conjunction with Salisbury Pride and timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Stonewell Uprising in New York City, a landmark event in LGBTQ history.
