Piney Grove’s 5th annual Everyone’s Birthday
MOCKSVILLE — Piney Grove’s 5th annual Everyone’s Birthday will be held Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at the Davie County Senior Center, 278 Meroney St., Mocksville
There will be food, fun, fellowship, entertainment and music by Unity ‘n Praise, Messengers for Christ and Echoes for Christ.
Tickets are $10 for adults age 13 and up; $5 for ages 6-12; and children age 5 and under are free.
The menu includes roast, fried chicken, green beans, corn, rice, roll, tea and dessert. Pay at the door.

Men’s Day at Southern City
EAST SPENCER — Southern City Tabernacle AME Zion Church, 940 S Long St., will hold its annual Men’s Day on Sunday at 11 a.m.
Guest speaker will be Rev. Dr. Swindell Edwards, who serves as the regional clinical chaplain II for the Piedmont, South Central and Western Regions of North Carolina Department of Public Safety.
Rev. Albert Johnson Jr. serves as the Men’s Day chairperson and Rev. Patrick Tate is host pastor.
