Rowan weather: Cold today, possible freezing rain tomorrow

Today will be sunny, but still cold, with a high of 41. The 7:30 a.m. temperature is 16.

Tonight we have a 30 percent chance of freezing rain. We are also under a winter weather advisory from midnight to noon on Wednesday. The low tonight will be 30, with increasing clouds and light winds.

Wednesday has a 50 percent chance of precipitation. Rain or freezing rain is possible before 9 a.m., then rain between 9 and 1 p.m., then showers after 1. It will be cloudy and 52, with south wind at 5-7 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.

Wednesday night has a 100 percent of showers, with 1 to 2 inches of rain possible. It will be 48, with south wind at 7-13 mph and gusts up to 21 mph.

Thursday’s chance of showers is 70 percent, mainly before 10 a.m. It will then become partly sunny and 54, with northwest wind at 5-8 mph.

Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low of 28.

Friday will be sunny, but cold, with a high of 44. A mostly clear night will lead to a low of 22.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and colder, with a high of 41. The low will be 28, with mostly cloudy skies.
