Rowan weather: Nice today, then turning colder

We might see a little fog this morning, but then it will be partly sunny and warm, with a high of 64. South southwest wind will be at 6-11 mph.

Tonight will be mostly clear and 37, with west northwest wind around 10 mph.

Wednesday will be sunny, but much cooler, with a high of 48. And it will be windy, with west northwest wind at 10-18 mph, gusting to 28 mph. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy and cold, with a low of 25 and more wind. Winds will be northwest at 7-14 mph, gusting to 20 mph.

Thursday will be sunny but cooler yet, with a high of just 42 and north wind at 9-11 mph. Thursday night will be clear and very cold, with a low of 23.

Friday will be sunny and 44, with a cloudy night and a low of 28.

Trouble may come Saturday, when we have a chance of snow before 11 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow mixed through 1 p.m., then a chance of rain after that. The high will be just 38 under cloudy skies and the overall chance of rain and snow is 50 percent.

Saturday night’s chance of rain, snow and sleet is 60 percent. with all three likely before 9 p.m., then rain through 2 a.m., then a chance of sleet. It will be cloudy and 31.
