Rowan weather: A chance of melting

It’s the storm that keeps on giving. Today, we are under a winter weather advisory until 11 a.m., mostly due to icy conditions on some roads.

Some of it should melt today, with sunny skies and a high near 42. Calm wind will become west around 5 mph this afternoon. Tonight will be mostly clear and 23, with west southwest wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and 44 with calm wind. It will be a cloudy and cold night, with a low of 28.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy and 45, with light southeast wind. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy and 35. Rain is likely, mainly after 4 a.m., with a 60 percent chance of precipitation.

Friday might bring more snow. There’s a 90 percent chance of rain and snow showers, with the snow tapering off around 9. The high will be 50 with mostly cloudy skies.

Friday night has a 70 percent chance of showers and will be mostly cloudy and 39.

Saturday will be partly sunny and 52, with a 40 percent chance of showers. The chance of showers drops to 30 percent Saturday night, with most showers ending around 3 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 36.

Sunday, finally, will be mostly sunny and 54. The low Sunday will be 35, with partly cloudy skies.
