Kenneth Wayne Karriker and Sara Craft Karriker of Kannapolis celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a celebration dinner given by their children in their honor at the Stag -N- Doe Restaurant.

The Karrikers were united in marriage  Dec. 6, 1958 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kannapolis. Kenneth retired as a numeric control programmer with Westinghouse in Charlotte. Sara retired from Cannon Mills Plant 1.

The couple have four children, Sherry Harmon of Concord, Audrey Eudy of Salisbury, Phillip Karriker of China Grove and Kendra Burgbacher of Concord. They also have eight grandchildren.
