MOCKSVILLE — Davie County’s boys stayed undefeated with a 74-57 win against Mooresville on Friday.

Davie (4-0) led by as many as 30 points.

The War Eagles were 19-for-21 from the foul line.

Owen McCormack had 14 points and nine rebounds. Jacob Hendrix had 18 points and six rebounds. Brooks Johnson scored 13, Troy Griggs had 12, and Michael Walton had nine.

Davie’s girls (3-2) trailed Mooresville, 9-1, after a quarter but came back to take a 41-33 victory.

Emma Slabach and Morgan Lewis led the War Eagles.
