SALISBURY — Two people remain in the county jail Friday after authorities said they broke into a home that belonged to an acquaintance who happened to be in jail for multiple drug-related charges, Salisbury Police officials said.

Sarah Amy Toledo, 34, of the 800 block of East Ridge Road, was charged with felony breaking and entering. She remains in the county jail under a $7,500 secured bond.

Michael Lynn Beck, 33, of Spencer, was charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. He remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $7,500 secured bond.

Police say the home was unoccupied because its owner, 51-year-old Teri Jean Davis, was arrested in September after police seized heroin from the Maple Avenue home. In that incident, police charged three people, including Davis.

A caller told police on Thursday morning that someone was inside the home. Police said Toledo was located inside the home.
