One person injured in three-vehicle Old Concord Road crash

SALISBURY — At least one man was injured Tuesday in a three-vehicle crash on Old Concord Road.

Two pickups and a motorcycle were involved in the collision, which occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. at 4906 Old Concord Road near Ted Lane.

The names of the people involved were not immediately available.

The N.C. Highway Patrol is investigating. Officials said all of those involved in the crash were able to get out of the vehicles.

One man was taken to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center by ambulance. The South Salisbury and Salisbury fire departments also responded.

The road was blocked for just over an hour. The wrecked vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
