Woman arrested for possession, providing false name

SALISBURY — Salisbury Police arrested Haley Dial, 26, of Salisbury, for possession of a controlled substance and resist, delay and obstruct.

Police were initially called to a Kangaroo gas station at 2270 Statesville Blvd. due to an argument. The two people involved in the argument left before police arrived. The police noticed someone was locked in the bathroom. After opening the door, police found Dial on the floor with needles and a pocket knife.

Police searched Dial and found a tin can with baggies and drug paraphernalia. Dial provided a false name to police.

While transferring Dial to the police department. She lost consciousness. She then was transported to Novant Rowan Medical Center for medical attention.

She is being confined at the Rowan County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
