Letter: Thanks, good Samaritan

Published 1:20 pm Sunday, November 25, 2018

My husband and I came out from the theater on Friday night after the play on Nov. 2 to our parked car in front. My husband noticed a note was attached to our windshield. It read, “I saw a truck back into your car and pulled off. Your front tag looks like it was bent and looks like that was the only damage I could see. The truck’s license plate was XXXXX.”

We just want to thank this person and tell them how wonderful and such a good Samaritan they were to take the time to do that. There could have been more damage done, when you could see during daylight.

Whoever did this, please know you were caught, and the result could have been bad for you. I hope the next time you do that, you will be the one to leave the note.

This is the season for being thankful, and we thank God for the good people in the world.
