SALISBURY — City Council and staff city members will host the fifth Chit, Chat & Chew on Dec. 6 at Fire Station No. 4.

The community town-hall meeting will cater to residents in city’s northwest, which includes Westcliffe, Rolling Hills. Hendrix Estates, Westwood, West Ridge and Clancy Hill neighborhoods. Residents can get answers from council members and other city leaders.

“Recognizing that each neighborhood in our city has its own set of challenges and triumphs,” said Anne Little, the city’s human relations manager, “Chit, Chat & Chew is an opportunity to have some of those challenges addressed or to tout their community accomplishments and perhaps provide support to others in the room. This event is not only an opportunity for Salisburians to interact with their elected officials but also with their neighbors in an informal setting.”

Four more town halls are scheduled for other areas.

Residents across the city are invited to attend any Chit, Chat & Chew town hall.

The meeting will begin at 5:45 p.m. after a light dinner is served.

Fire Station No. 4 is at 2325 Statesville Blvd.
