SALISBURY — The Rowan IDEA Center will host its monthly workshops at City Tavern starting Tuesday.
The workshops, previously held at West End Plaza, are for regional entrepreneurs.
At Tuesday’s workshop, participants will make a poster that describes a business idea, the target market and the problem to be solved by the proposed business. Professionals and other entrepreneurs will provide feedback.
The monthly sessions will be held the second Tuesday of every month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at City Tavern.
Other sessions include:
• It’s All About the Pitch! Jan. 8
• Business Model Canvas, Feb. 12
• Market assessment, March 12
• Entrepreneurial marketing, April 9
• The 4 P’s: Price, Product, Placement and Promotion, May 14
The workshops are free. There will be no workshop in December.
The IDEA Center was created to support and recruit entrepreneurs, startups and existing business owners for Rowan County’s long-term economic growth and development.
