Cooler weather on the way

It still feels like summer outside today, but cooler weather is on the way and may stick around for a while, according to local weather expert Steve Monday.
Rain is on the way — possibly tomorrow — but the skies should be clear in time for OctoberTour on Saturday and Sunday, according to this forecast for Salisbury from the National Weather Service:

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then a slight chance of rain between 2am and 4am. Patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. East wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
