Rowan weather: Cloudy today, rain likely tomorrow

We’ve got more fog and mist this morning, but no rain until Wednesday.

The fog will hang around until 10 a.m., then it will be mostly cloudy and 77, with light east wind.

Tonight will also be mostly cloudy, with a low of 66 and calm wind. Expect more fog around 1 a.m.

Wednesday will start with patchy fog until around 10 a.m., then be partly sunny and 85. Southwest wind will be at 5-8 mph in the morning. We’ll have a 60 percent chance of showers, then showers and thunderstorms after 11 a.m. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.

The chance of rain goes up to 70 percent Wednesday night. It will be mostly cloudy and 68 with light and variable wind. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.

Thursday also has a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 4 p.m., with fewer thunderstorms after 4. It will be cloudy and 76. Winds will be east northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. Thursday night has a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be cloudy and 64.

Friday will be mostly cloudy and 80, with a 40 percent chance of showers, then thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Friday night’s chance of showers and storms is just 30 percent. The low will be 65, with mostly cloudy skies.

Saturday will have a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy and 80. Saturday night will have a 30 percent chance of showers before 11 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 64.

Sunday will be partly sunny and 81. The low will be 63, with partly cloudy skies.

And Monday should be mostly sunny and 80.
