Registration opens for Duke Dash 5K at NC Research Campus

KANNAPOLIS—On your mark, get set, register!

Registration is now open for the Duke Dash 5K & Healthfest, the MURDOCK Study’s fifth annual community appreciation event at the N.C. Research Campus.

The Duke Dash 5K will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13. The race is part of the Run Kannapolis Race Series. The Healthfest will run from 9 a.m. until noon. The first 250 online registrants will receive a free T-shirt. Onsite registration will be available the day of the event starting at 8:15 a.m.

Come out for a fun-filled morning including the 5K and other healthy activities like Walk With A Doc, line dancing, Zumba, yoga, face painting and more. Bring a chair and enjoy a bite to eat, listen to the DJ, or browse through a variety of vendors. Bring expired or unused medications to the drop-off. This family friendly event is appropriate for all ages.
