SALISBURY — The Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education will return from its summer break Monday. The board regularly suspends meetings during the month of July, but will now return to its regular meeting schedule.

The 1 p.m. work session includes an update on the reconstruction of South Rowan High School’s JROTC rappelling tower, which burned down in January. The board will also discuss renewing Rowan-Salisbury School’s contract with Achieve3000, will receive an update on school resource officers and will vote to approve a $375,000 classroom supply allotment from the Rowan County Board of Commissioners.

The board will meet Monday at 1 p.m. in the Wallace Educational Forum board room, 500 N. Main St.
