SALISBURY — Sabrina Annette Curzi, 40, and Darryl Allen Wright, 34, were the people killed in Friday afternoon’s shooting at Town Creek Park.

The city of Salisbury released the names on its website Saturday. Both Curzi and Wright were from Salisbury.

Meanwhile, the city’s update said that “after extensive investigative efforts by detectives,” three men had been identified as suspects in the shooting.

The suspects’ names, photographs and a few details on the men were released by police Saturday.

They are:

• Ronald Earl Powers, 32, of Salisbury, 5 feet-10 inches tall, 220 pounds.

• Eugene William Black Jr., 24, of Salisbury, 6-2, 160 pounds.

• Willie Earl Williams Jr., 32, 6-0, 180 pounds.

At roughly 4:10 p.m. Friday, Salisbury Police officers responded to a 911 call related to a disturbance at a picnic being held at Town Creek Park, located off S. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in the 700 block of East Monroe Street.

Police found Curzi and Wright already dead, lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.

The limited information on suspects at the time said three men in a dark, mid-sized car were seen leaving the park.

“There appeared to be a gathering of people in a gazebo in the park,” a city report said.

Nearby residents told the Post they heard gunfire. Salisbury Police detectives worked the scene Friday with assistance from the State Bureau of Investigation.
