Being a longtime resident of the community, I enjoyed Elizabeth Cook’s column, “Everyone shopped downtown,” in Sunday’s Salisbury Post.  I recall and relate to all of this.

The last sentence has particular significance for me. (“The only constant is change.”) When I was manager of an insurance agency and my son joined the business, he often complained about the procedures and problems with insurance companies. I would tell him, don’t worry about it because it’s going to change. This is true with most things in life
