Opens tonight: ‘The Fantasticks’
‘The Fantasticks’ closes Lee Street theatre’s 10th Anniversary Season
The age-old love story of a boy, a girl and a love blossoming out of a family feud. Far from the classic happily-ever-after, this unconventional modern epic follows young lovers Luisa and Matt and their arduous journey into adulthood and disillusionment.

RPL presents ‘Guitar Instruction’ with Eric Upton
Monday, July 23, Rowan Public Library, 201 W. Fisher St.
The free class, led by Eric Upton of the Oasis School of Music, begins at 6:30 p.m. Open to all ages and skill levels, all you need to participate is a guitar, a pick, and a willingness to learn.
Upton, who lives in China Grove, has been a professional musician since 1989 and has been providing private lessons for six years.
