Rowan weather: More bad air and heat

Again, the heat index will be around 100-103 degrees, with high humidity, high temperatures and little wind.

Today will be sunny and 95 with west northwest wind around 6 mph this morning. Tonight’s low will be 73, with partly cloudy skies. A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is possible through midnight.

Wednesday will be another hot and humid day, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 93. Winds will be calm in the morning, then around 6 mph from the west in the afternoon. A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms is possible after 4 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
