Howard Trent Myrick and Janet Faggart Myrick of China Grove celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary  June 16, 2018. The family will celebrate with a trip to Disney World in the fall.

The Myricks were united in marriage on June 16, 1968  by Reverend G. Howard Allred at the parsonage at Epworth Methodist Church in Concord. Howard retired from Akzo-Nobel after 43 years of service and he is a local barber. Jan is retired from the Rowan-Salisbury School System.

The couple have one daughter, Kim Webster and three granddaughters, Rachel, Bailey and Valerie.
