SALISBURY — When Happy Roots co-founders Ashley Honbarrier, Stacey Carter and Nye Hartwick were planning the organization’s first season of summer camps last year, they chose to host their camps at their headquarters on South Fulton Street.

“The farthest we went was for walks in Chestnut Hill Cemetery,” Honbarrier said.

But this year, the organization decided to expand its camps to include horseback riding at Foxchase Farm and outdoor activities at ReWorked farm campus.

“We had no van or transportation,” Carter said.

That’s where Salisbury limo company All Star Limousines was able to step in.

The company donated limos — one for each week, Honbarrier thinks — to transport campers to and from off-site destinations.

“I’m a parent myself,” said Victor Acosta, founder of All Star Limousines. “I want to make sure the kids get to have fun and get there safely.”

Acosta, who started All Star Limousines in 1990, has also donated chauffeur services to local schoolchildren, the V.A. hospital and a local homeless shelter.

“When I have the time to do so, I am grateful to be able to help my community,” Acosta said.

Happy Roots will have four camp sessions this year between July 9 and Aug. 16.

The July 30-Aug. 2 session will be for 4- to 7-year-olds.

Honbarrier said the 4- to 7-year-old camp would likely not involve off-site travel and be half-day sessions.

All other sessions — July 9-12, July 16-19 and Aug. 13-16 — will be for ages 8 to 14 and will include off-site travel. Those sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additional child care will be available until 5:30 p.m. for an additional charge.

Other camp activities will include gardening, cooking, yoga, mindfulness, music and art.
