Rowan weather: Sunshine and warm temperatures

It’s going to be a warm weekend for high school graduations, but the threat of storms will be mostly in the afternoon tomorrow.

Today, you might see some patchy fog before 11 a.m., then it will be mostly sunny and 87 with light and variable wind.

Tonight will be partly cloudy and 67, with patchy fog after 3 a.m.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 88, with south southwest wind at 3-5 mph. Patchy fog is possible before 10 a.m. A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms moves in after noon.

Saturday night will also have a 20 percent chance of showers and storms. It will be partly cloudy and 69, with calming south wind.

Sunday will be partly sunny and hot, with a high of 89. The heat will bring a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, which will stick around through Sunday night, which will be mostly cloudy and 68.

Monday will also have a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and it will be mostly cloudy and cooler, with a high of 81. The same chance of rain sticks around Monday night, with a low of 64 and mostly cloudy skies.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and 83, with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The chance of rain drops to 30 percent Tuesday night, with more clouds and a low of 68.
