Letter: Help letter carriers Stamp Out Hunger

Published 12:00 am Monday, May 7, 2018

The 26th annual Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will be held on Saturday, May 12, throughout the United States.

The Rowan County United Way is partnering with us to make our community’s drive a success. All donations are given to our local Salvation Army, Rowan Helping Ministries and the China Grove Main Street Mission.

Soon we will be delivering postcards and/or plastic bags in mailboxes to encourage everyone to participate in our efforts to provide food to the neediest in our community.

I urge you to help us spread the word to family, friends and neighbors and to leave a donation in your mail box at the Post Office — no postage necessary!
