SALISBURY — A multi-vehicle crash that shut down part of East Innes Street on Thursday afternoon was caused by a driver under the influence, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

Danny Lee Logan, 39, of Salisbury was charged Thursday with driving while impaired and failure to maintain his lane after his 1991 Ford Mustang crossed the center line and hit a 2001 Toyota, a 2013 Honda and a 2009 Dodge.

Logan and one other person were taken to the hospital after the Salisbury Fire Department freed two people from the wreckage.

• A man reported a strong-arm robbery Thursday in the 400 block of West Franklin Street.

• A man reported a burglary Thursday in the 1200 block of Celebration Drive.

• A woman said she was shot Thursday in the 600 block of Brenner Avenue.

• A woman reported a physical assault in the 100 block of Clancy Street.

• Ted Nmn Geter, 61, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer Tuesday in the 400 block of North Long Street.

• Gregory Allen Ogara, 31, was charged Wednesday with felony obtaining property by false pretenses in the 200 block of Freedom Drive.

• Myra Smith Mackin, 52, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer in the 200 block of Dan Street.

• Bradford Bennet, 22, was charged with misdemeanor larceny in the 200 block of Dan Street on Wednesday.

• Tracy Christy Heffner, 44, was charged Wednesday with felony misdemeanor larceny by servants and other employees in the 400 block of Lake Drive.

• Deon Cornelius Johnson, 25, was charged with felony child abuse inflicting serious injury in the 200 block of North Main Street.

• Fuel was reported stolen at Love’s Travel Plaza in the 1100 block of Peeler Road on Tuesday.

• A student stole a school iPad from Hanford Dole Elementary School on Wednesday.

• A woman on Wednesday reported an attempted burglary in the 2400 block of Heilig Road.

• A woman reported that lawn tools were stolen from her garage Wednesday in the 4500 block of Bringle Ferry Road.

• A man reported Wednesday a larceny in the 1600 block of Umberger Road in Mount Ulla.

• A man reported a physical assault Wednesday in the 1400 block of Elizabeth Avenue in Kannapolis.

• A woman reported a physical assault in the 3400 block of Dunn’s Mountain Road on Wednesday.

• Brandon Shae Shelton, 44, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer Wednesday in the 2300 block of McGee Street in Kannapolis.

• Toshenna Renee Warren, 36, was charged Wednesday with felony possession of cocaine in Salisbury.

• Jesse Allen Redding, 20, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 3500 block of Organ Church Road on Wednesday.

• Charles Edward Felder, 19, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance in Salisbury.

• Haley Brooke Joyner, 20, was charged Wednesday with misdemeanor simple assault in the 600 block of North Enochville Avenue in Kannapolis.

• Sheddrick Jarrell Russel, 26, was charged with misdemeanor larceny Wednesday in Salisbury.

• Keith Tyrone Carrol, 19, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female in the 2100 block of Bringle Ferry Road on Wednesday.

• Brandy Michelle Flowers, 35, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance in the 100 block of Roger Drive on Wednesday.

• Dadrian Tyquan Cowan, 26, was charged Wednesday with felony firearms possession by a felon in the 100 block of West Liberty Street.
