A New Day 5K Trail Run will be hosted by Sacred Heart Catholic School on its cross-country course on Saturday.

The 5K will showcase the school’s 10-acre campus. Proceeds will go toward supporting students who need financial aid and for technological upgrades.

The trail run will start at 9 a.m. and will be followed at 10 a.m. by a kids’ fun run for kindergartners through third-graders.

Overall winners and the top three male and female finishers in 14 age groups will receive awards. Each finisher will receive a dri-fit shirt and a pair of socks.

Online race registration continues this week at www.sportoften.com and at the school. Race day registration begins at 7:15 a.m.
