Small fire in police parking garage put out quickly Sunday morning
SALISBURY — It sounded worse than it turned out to be.
Close to 8 a.m. Sunday, Salisbury Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at the Salisbury Police Department, 140 E. Liberty St. The fire was quickly located in the sprinkler control room of the Police Department’s parking garage, where it was knocked down and confined to that room.
There was no extension, minimal damage and no injuries, according to the Fire Department.
