Deadline March 14 for EnergyUnited scholarship

The deadline is March 15 for high school students to apply for EnergyUnited’s new scholarship program, Empowering the Future.

EnergyUnited is offering two $5,000 scholarships to students who are enrolled in their senior year of high school and who plan to attend a college, university or technical school.

The scholarship is designed to recognize students who have exemplified academic success as well as demonstrated a commitment to bettering their community.

To be eligible, applicants must live or attend school in the EnergyUnited service area, submit two letters of recommendation, respond to two essay questions and complete an application that can be found on the EnergyUnited website.

Applicants must be a student who plans to attend an accredited college, university or technical school. Applications must be received by email or U.S. mail no later than March 15.
