Rowan weather: A windy day, but clearing

Cool temperatures will stick around for a while but we’ll get a break from the rain for a few days.

Today will start out foggy and cloudy, but should clear up, with a high of 52. Then we’ll have to deal with the wind from the west northwest at 12-17 mph this morning, and gusting to 26 mph.

Tonight will be clear and cold, with a low of 29 and west northwest wind at 5-9 mph.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and 46, but we’ll still have winds around 6-11 mph from the west, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Thursday night will be clear and very cold, with a low of 26 and west northwest wind at 3-8 mph.

Friday will be sunny and 50, with west wind at 5-10 mph.

Then, we might have snow mixed with rain Friday night. The chance of precipitation is just 20 percent, so don’t get too excited. The low will be 34.

Saturday will have a 30 percent chance of rain after noon, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 56.

The chance of rain goes up to 60 percent Saturday night, with a low of 41.

Sunday will have a 70 percent chance of rain, with a high of 52. The chance of rain Sunday night will be 50 percent, with a low of 37.

And Monday will have a 30 percent chance of rain with partly sunny skies and a high of 53. Monday night will be partly cloudy and cold, with a low of 33.

Tuesday should be mostly sunny and 53 again.
