Letter: Vote with passion to protect the public

Cokie and Steven Roberts are, as usual, right on the money (“Trump, NRA no monopoly,” March 3).
The young people responding to the latest school mass shooting can and are leading the way. How dare some of the antis criticize them with such cruelty.
The rest of us in the older supporting category must support them with vim and vigor, and vote with passion for the gun control issue.
You have other issues? So do I, but if you think about it, voting against those who are so pro-gun and anti-gun-control will also be supporting your issue. The pro-gun people vote with gusto and much force. We must surpass their passion and vote this issue above all else if there is any hope of winning.
No other country has let the pro-gun issue take over their country. I am not against the Second Amendment, but why does anyone not military need all of the shooting power of some of those weapons?
I am beyond sick and tired of seeing children and others murdered. Vote with passion.
