Peggy Barnhardt must have borrowed my soapbox. I’m in total agreement with her about “fake” greetings in stores, lack of customer service, all the self-service and do-it-yourself trends. Even if you call for service, the answering machine reminds you that you can “do it yourself” on their website.
By the time I call for customer service, I’ve exhausted all other means of help, and I need to talk to someone.
Thanks, Peggy. I couldn’t have said it better.
