In observance of National Heart Health Month, the members of the Salisbury Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. are having a workshop on the mind, body and spirit, “Pink Goes Red” on Friday.

The events will be in the auditorium of the former Salisbury-Rowan School System Administration Building, 110 S. Long St. in East Spencer from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The workshop sessions include stroke and heart disease awareness, blood pressure screening, Zumba and a healthy snack. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
