FAITH – N.C. Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close a small section of Kluttz Road while they replace an aging storm drain culvert that crosses underneath the road in Faith.

Crews will close the road at 8 a.m. Tuesday. It is scheduled to reopen at 5 p.m. Jan. 5, weather permitting.

Motorists traveling through the area should use Rainey Road, Deal Street, Faith Street, South Main Street and Gantt Street to detour around the closure.

Transportation officials advise drivers to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
