The East Rowan 12U baseball team finished up its fall season in style as champions of the gold bracket division in the 2017 Top Gun Winter World Series, held in Tarboro.  The event hosted 197 teams from North Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. The Mustangs were 6-0 through pool and bracket play, scoring 60 runs and allowing only 11.
