Letter: A fair shake for voters

Published 12:20 am Sunday, November 5, 2017

So glad to read that the higher court is going to look at this redistricting. I was gerrymandered from the 12th to the 13th. Not happy about  that. I hope and pray the high court rules so that all voting citizens have a fair chance to vote. I mean all races, creeds and colors.

I hope they had a good turnout for early voting. It is time to stop living in the past. If you live in this country we all deserve a fair shake to vote for the persons we choose.

We must not forget that a single vote is as important as a million votes. We need to remember that voting is a privilege. We must not ignore this.
