Rowan weather: Frost on the pumpkins

We’re under a freeze warning until 10 a.m. this morning, as you’ll notice when you have to scrape ice off your windshield.

But it will be sunny and 58 later, with west wind at 5-9 mph.

Expect patchy frost after 3 a.m. It will be a clear night, with a low of 38 and south southwest wind at 3-6 mph.

Frost will hang around Tuesday morning (Halloween) until about 8 a.m. It will be sunny again, and warmer, with a high near 66. Winds will be light and variable.

Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low of 39 and calm wind.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny and warmer again, with a high of 68. Winds will become south around 5 mph in the afternoon.

A 20 percent chance of rain moves in after 1 a.m., with a low of 47.

Thursday will be partly sunny and 71, with a low around 50.

Friday will be mostly sunny and 74, with a partly cloudy night and a low of 52.

The weekend will have a slight chance of showers, but it will be warm.

Saturday has a 30 percent chance of showers, with partly sunny skies and a high near 70.

The same chance of rain is possible Saturday night, with a low around 51.

And Sunday also has a 30 percent chance of showers, with a high of 67.
