As pastor of South China Grove United Methodist Church, I have been honored by the congregation many times during the past nine years, and it was not always just during pastor appreciation month.

During our annual celebration Sunday, they presented me with a plaque commemorating the nine years I have been with them.

This week they presented me with a card which among other things stated that they had sent money in my honor to my favorite mission, Main Street Mission in China Grove. I am pleased that the money they spend does more good than hundreds of pictures in the paper could possibly do.
