SALISBURY – A tractor-trailer driver told Salisbury police that he was sprayed with pepper spray by another driver during a road-rage incident at Jake Alexander Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

The man did not require medical attention.

Driver Tyreese Bradley told an officer he pulled into the left lane to make a turn and a man driving a green pickup cut him off and pulled in front of him. He slammed on his brakes, was able to stop and blew his horn.

Bradley pulled up beside the pickup driver at the next intersection. He cursed at the driver, asking why he cut him off. The two men exchanged racial slurs.

The driver told Bradley he would spray him with mace. He then sprayed pepper spray into the cab of the truck and drove off.

Bradley described the other driver as a white man in his 40s who had “bad teeth.” He was driving a green pickup.
