GRANITE QUARRY — Town employees will participate today in the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Litter Sweep Day by cleaning up areas along U.S. 52.

Town staff members and officials will meet at 1 p.m. at Town Hall. The DOT will supply safety vests, gloves and trash bags.
