Michael Ray Lane and Judy Rickard Lane of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 9, 2017.  A celebration dinner was held to honor the couple Sept. 9, 2017 at the American Legion Building in Faith.

The Lanes were united in marriage Sept. 9, 1967 at Oakdale Baptist Church in Spencer by the Rev. H.M. Hocut. Michael and Judy both pastored from 1976-2005 and founded One By One Ministries, Inc. where they have both ministered since 2005.

The couple have three sons, Patrick Michael Lane and wife Amy of Wilmington, Christopher Lee Lane and wife Tiffany of Elkin and Brent Rickard Lane and wife Victoria of Faith. They also have eight grandchildren.
