A fire, law enforcement and first responders appreciation breakfast will be held in remembrance of 9/11 (Patriot Day) Saturday, Sept. 16, at American Legion Post 146 in Landis.

The breakfast will honor the men and women who serve and protect our communities. This event will recognize the first responders serving the China Grove and Landis communities. Open to all first responders and their immediate family members.

The event will be at the Legion Post, 412 N. Central Ave., 8:30-11 a.m., drop-in style.
