Senior Games set March 1-May 25

SALISBURY — The Salisbury/Rowan Senior Games & SilverArts have once again been sanctioned as a qualifying site for state finals in 2018.

Local Senior Games & SilverArts will be held in Rowan County on March 1 through May 25.

Senior Games offer competition in sports and the arts including golf, bowling, team sports, swimming, bocce, painting, pottery and poetry.

Rowan County senior games will also offer weekly practices to help competitors sharpen skills or to teach sports to any Rowan County senior resident age 50 or older.

Salisbury/Rowan Senior Games & SilverArts will be presented by Rowan County Parks & Recreation.
