I lived the first 50 years of my life in New Jersey. I relocated to Salisbury 11 years ago. While living in the New Jersey and New York metropolitan areas, I attended many mega churches and heard many high-profile ministers’ sermon. While that experience was very inspirational, none of them has touched me, inspired me, and brought me closer to God than my spiritual leader, the late Rev. Dr. Clary L. Phelps of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church. His spirit and teachings will live in my heart and soul forever. May God bless and comfort his loving family and my Gethsemane Church family. He will truly be missed to all he touched.
