David A. and Gay Wise Roberts of Landis celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 20, 2017. They were married at First Reformed Church in Landis on Sunday, August 20, 1967.

They have two sons, John D. Roberts and wife Jami from Glen Carbon, Ill., and Shane M. Roberts and wife Samantha from Landis. They have one granddaughter, Emily; and four grandsons, Mark, Ben, Tyson and Miles.

The couple traveled to Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Idaho on a 14 day journey of exploration and celebration.
