The intense humidity continues today, with temperatures around 90 degrees.

We’ll have a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., but it will be mostly sunny with calming winds.

Tonight, we also have a 20 percent chance of showers and storms. It will be mostly cloudy and 72.

Thursday brings a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, mainly after 11 a.m. It will be partly sunny and 90, with heat index values as high as 100 degrees. Calm wind will become south around 6 mph in the afternoon. A tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.

The chance of rain drops to 30 percent Thursday night, with a low of 72 and little wind.

Friday will also have a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, mainly after 11 a.m. It will be partly sunny and 90 with southwest wind around 5 mph in the afternoon. Again, the chance of rain Friday night is 30 percent, with a low of 71.

Saturday has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1 p.m. It will be partly sunny and 88. No rain Saturday night, with a low of 70.

Sunday will be partly sunny and 89, with a low of 70.

Then we return to a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday, with partly sunny skies and a high of 88. The same chance of rain is possible Monday night, with a low of 70.

And Tuesday will look a lot like Monday, with a 30 percent chance of showers and storms and a high of 89 under mostly sunny skies.
