I lived in Rowan County most of my life, but I moved away in 2012. It truly saddens me because of all the crime that is happening.

Every town has its problems, but over the years Salisbury’s crime gets worse and worse.

I don’t care if you are black, white, green, purple, etc. Start taking better care of one another. This is your home. Stop turning it into a town known for shootouts, drug overdoses and more.

Raise your children to be respectful and open-minded, to show respect for others and have manners. Come on, Rowan County. Break the cycle!
