The Rowan County Democratic Party will have its annual picnic on Aug. 24.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. The picnic will be at Shoaf’s Wagon Wheel, 151 Barn Dance Drive.

The potluck/covered-dish meal will begin at 6:30 p.m. Guests are asked to bring some food to share.

The picnic will include presentations by local and regional Democratic Party leaders as well as local candidates.

It will include a gift store, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle.
